Very happy with the service all round. Friendly and efficient, communication was good, I felt listened to as I explained what I wanted, which wasn't completely run-of-the-mill. They managed to disable the Coaster Brake on my combined Coaster/Gearbox hub whilst retaining the gears, which another shop had told me was not possible. Thank you!

Many thanks to Liam and the team who have transformed my Croix De Fer into a more 'gravelly' machine with the installation of a SRAM 1x groupset. It didn't prove to be the easiest conversion but I was kept informed throughout the process which is so rare these days. The bike runs sweetly and has already been introduced to some gentle offroading where the new gearing has been a great help. A first-class business focussed on fantastic customer service. Great service. Took my almost new Trek 7.6 FX in to South Coast Bikes after a minor accident and a problem with the gears autoshifting. Evans (who I bought it from) had looked at it, said it was ok but could not diagnose the problem. South Coast spotted the issue instantly (bent rear derailler mounting bracket) and fixed it in 20 minutes. Impressed !
