Many thanks to Liam and the team who have transformed my Croix De Fer into a more 'gravelly' machine with the installation of a SRAM 1x groupset. It didn't prove to be the easiest conversion but I was kept informed throughout the process which is so rare these days. The bike runs sweetly and has already been introduced to some gentle offroading where the new gearing has been a great help. A first-class business focussed on fantastic customer service. None of which they experienced with Halfords which was frustrating and soul destroying - their staff do not have a passion for bikes nor a motivation to satisfy customers!
