SCB Referrals Reward Scheme

Many new customers come to us after being recommended by a friend, work colleague or similar. As a small, local business, we’re very grateful for these recommendations. Not only are they a source of most appreciated business, but also the best possible confirmation that we're doing our job well.

For some time we've wanted to find a way to thank and reward our customers who make these recommendations and so we are pleased to launch our referrals reward scheme. It's very simple: And, discounts accumulate, so for example, if you recommend us to three new customers, we'll give you 60% off. If you send five new customers our way, we'll fix your bike completely free of charge. A 100% discount. Can't do better than that really.

We want to keep it really simple and easy to benefit from, so there are no vouchers, loyalty cards, tickets, coupons etc. In fact, there is no paperwork at all. The referrals scheme has been integrated into our booking system to make it as simple and easy to use as possible. To get your discount, all you have to do is claim your referral once the new customer has used us. Next time you use us, your discount will automatically be applied.

• To claim a referral, either phone or email us with the recommended customer’s details (their name and either collection address or phone number)
• Referrals must be claimed within 28 days of the new customer using us for the first time (this is hard coded into our booking system and there is no way around it)
• Referrals cannot be claimed until the new customer has received their bike back
• Maximum discount is £100
• The discount applies to both parts and labour
• For a job where you have more than one bike serviced, the discount will be applied to the bike with the highest bill.
• To be a referrer (and so claim a discount) you must have used us at least once previously.
• Discounts cannot be saved up. This means: each time you use us, all available referral discounts will be used, and your discount will be set back to zero (until you refer another new customer)
• Only new customers referred to us since the 1st of August 2010 may be claimed for referrals. (We are really grateful to everyone who has recommended us to new customers before this date but trying to assess these would be a minefield!)
